Advanced School on “Nano-photodevices for bacterial detection and treatment” NAnoPhOtOLI2025

Lectures are addressed to PhD students working in the fields of Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Nanotechnology and cover a comprehensive path from fundamental aspects to cutting-edge applications of biofunctionalized photoactive nanotools for bacterial detection and treatment.

The Advanced School NAnoPhOtOLI2025 will provide courses covering 5 main Scientific Topics:

1. Biomolecules for selective molecular recognition;

2. Bacteria: from lipopolysaccharides to membranes’ structural organization;

3. Photoactive nano-bio-interfaces for bacterial detection/treatment: from design to functionality; 

4. Physicochemical characterization methods of diagnostic nanotools; 

5. Modeling strategies for the development of detection devices.
